Patrick Dahm German-Singapore lawyer and arbitrator

Hello! I’m Patrick. Or, as it’s said in Japanese, Patorikku.

If you’re here looking for information about my work as an arbitrator or mediator, you’ll want to head over to my other website, which is dedicated to that side of things. But while you’re here, have a look around!

So, a bit about me. I’m originally from Germany and have been living in Singapore since 2001, or 2008, depending on how you count. Either way, Singapore is home.

What do I do? I’m a German-qualified lawyer (Rechtsanwalt), and one of the few foreign practitioners in Singapore registered to practise both Singapore law (in permitted areas) and German law. I’m also a fully registered foreign lawyer with the Singapore International Commercial Court (SICC). By day, I practise law. By night, I blog about it. Sometimes. Not as often as I’d like.

I’m a bookworm, and I’ve got a bit of a nerdy streak, which I indulge as a proud member of the Tolkien Society and the Sons of the Desert.

The rest of the time you’ll find me on a yoga mat. Or underwater, scuba diving, when I get the chance.

Feel free to drop me a line.
